Dreadnok Crusher WIP 1991_s21

I liked the two Dreadnoks introduced from Convention set, but we gotta admit that it was lame that they just threw Zangief's head on Gnawgahyde's body- and referenced it in his bio, no less!
Anyhoo, I decided to make my own Crusher and Demolisher (pics of Demolisher coming soon).
Fitting Zangief's enormous head on a 1988 took a little time. I had to file down a whole lot off the sides of the head and the neck so it didn't look so huge. I think I still might file it down just a little more, though. I'm still deciding which colors to go with, although I think he looks a little 'Nok-ish as he is.
For accessories I'm going with a sawed off shotgun from a CORPS! figure and a wrecking tool from Marauder, cause I think that 'Noks need a good melee weapon as well as a range weapon.
The vest is optional, too.

I already like him better than the 'Con version. This guy could use a little more to set him apart from Armadillo (who was questionable to begin with). Maybe different arms and a logo on his shirt? Or some paint on the lower half? The 'Noks are pretty fond of jeans and black biker boots.

Good call. I went with Armadillo since he is relatively obscure/ not very recognizable. I'm probably going to give those arms to my Demolisher custom. I was thinking about adding the tattoo on his head, but I'n not too good at detail painting yet. A design on the shirt is a pretty good idea; any suggestions for paint that would be good for making those pants look like jeans?

Some tattoos would help seperate him, or even some thighs that look a little baggier. What about some BDU pants.

So.Much.Better

I like it, looking forward to the painted piece. And I like that Crusher is getting some individuality.
