tampography

has anyone got any experience with tampography ?
for those who may not know
it the process for painting the detailed symbols on to a 3 dimensional surface

I have not seen anyone do this, other than maybe the BLACK MAJOR's customs - but then again they are outsourced to China from the original molds and maybe even the original workers.

Water Slide Decals seem to be the only alternative to this as far as I know.

Where can I get custom Water Slide Decals?

The most information I have found on them has been on the radio controlled vehicle hobby sites and model car sites.

But this is one of the guys that got me interested - he does not have any for sale right now on his Etsy site - but he has an amazing tutorial:
