Arm Rivets???

Does anybody know what size, and where to buy rivets that are a close match to the ones used on ARAH figs? I know they are semi-tubular, and seem to be aluminum, but I don't know what size they are, or where to buy them, or the type of tool used to press them.

That's an epic question! Various customizers across the Internet have put their heads together and nobody can find the exact size Hasbro used. Similar to screws: you can get really close, but an exact match just hasn't been found.

Here at the Club, we'll be using custom plastic "rivets" for the quarterly figures' arms.

I would say just scavenge from broken parts

I am still working on this, it may look like we have to have a special rivet cut. This could mean , a mold cost and taking about 5000 copies, but that will work out if we need them.

The cost to cut the mold is not cheap tho. I just ordered some custom rivets and hoping they work, if they do, we will be selling them as well as using them on club figures. The tool needed will have a link so you know what you need as well.

Yeah these are really hard to find, I had a webste that sold harware for miniature ship building I ordered 4 different sizes and none were right. It is very frustrating.

I'll have to find out what size they were, but I ordered and have a bunch of semi tubular rivets that kind of work. They are too wide though. The head/face are really big once set which limits the shoulder movement. The shaft was also too wide so I had to buy a drill bit to widen the hole. This is a 100% cast figure with the rivets that I had bought.
